Virtual routes
|
The virtual routes can contain the altitude profile, complete information about location in the GPS format, interesting points with photos or video routes. The routes in the UniVET System 2009 were considerably improved. The virtual routes can be newly displayed in the browser Google Earth, can be freely edited in the route editor, added interesting places including photos and the like.
The virtual routes are important for the training on ergo meter, where is the load on ergo meter set according the current route inclination – ride according the profile. The virtual route respectively its altitude profile is the main parameter for the load calculation, which is during training set on the ergo meter (for calculation is further used the person weight and height, bicycle weight).

Virtual routes in the UniVET System 2009 are divided into two types according the information quantity, which is recorded about every route point:
Altitude profile - single route points contain only information about the altitude.
Complete profile - individual route points contain information about altitude, geographical latitude and geographical longitude. The complete route profile can be displayed in the browser Google Earth.
Altitude profile can be created with the help of for example data import from the sport tester Polar or Suunto. The complete route profile you create in the route editor with the manual "clicking" the route in the Google earth or with the manual data import from the GPS.
From the view of the virtual route suitability for the training on ergo meter the program differentiates:
routes suitable for ergo meter – altitude profile of the virtual route is optimized in such way, that there won't be frequent altitude changes during the ride on ergo meter (frequent load changes). Route optimization can be carried out in the route editor.
Routes unsuitable for ergo meter – route, altitude profile of which wasn’t optimized and that’s why during the ride on ergo meter comes to the frequent altitude changes and therefore to load changes on the ergo meter as well.
