UniVET System 2009 at the trade fair Sport Life 2009
The training software UniVET System 2009 was possible to try out during the biggest cycling trade fair in the Central Europe, fair Sport Life, right in the three expositions. The program presentation you could traditionally find on the stall of trademark KETTLER, furthermore then on the stall Kola pro zivot (Bicycles for the life), where during the whole fair holding took place the visitor's competition for the fastest time, and finally also on the stall Sela marathon. Here was ridden the competition „Dobytí hradu Helfštýn“ (.conquest of the castle Helštýn). It was short but very demanding steep rise, part of the real route of the Sela marathon.

On the stall DAUM could all the visitors with help of ergo meters pass through selected route part up the Cenkova pila, winner achieved cost free starting for the serial Kolo for život 2010 (Bicycle for life 2010). The winner was Petr Frank with the time 3:24, obviously he held the form from the season, because there was tough competition and for testing was big interest, all the 5 ergo meters was permanently occupied. On Saturday on the stage took place the virtual competition on the ergo meters Daum, in which participated the elite of Czech cycling:
Jarda Kulhavý, Pavel Boudný, Martin Mareš, Ondra Fojtík, Ivan Rybařík, Jirka Novák and others.

In the forenoon were ridden the 2 semi-final on the shortened ca 10 minutes long route. Jarda Friede cleverly used his experience and on the indented route won with the best time and surprisingly qualified for the finals. However it must be said that though Jarda doesn’t compete anymore, he sits on the bicycle all the time, and when he is in the groove, then he is able to compete even with the elite. For the final further more qualified with the big audience interest Pavel Boudný, Jirka Novák, Ondra Fojtík and Jára Kulhavý. Final was ridden on the nine kilometer steep rise up to the 2500 meters high Albula, known from the Giro d'Italia. Competitors and audience could on-screen watch the route, ranking on the map, speed, watts, pulses and engaged gear. And boys really weren’t messing around, puddles of their sweat created one big sea. As a matter of fact they were driven by the first prize in the form of the three thousand Czech Crowns. Average 8 per cent steep rise finally fastest managed Jára Kulhavý, second Jarda Friede and third Pavel Boudný.
